Østerline — Website Studio

Working with clients worldwide

01 — The studio

Hand-built with speed in mind.

Østerline is a website studio working with clients worldwide. Every site is bespoke — designed and hand-coded from scratch for the business it belongs to. No page-builder bloat, no template you have to apologize for.

From $2,000, hand-coded, built for the business behind the page.
Standard
WCAG 2.1 AA is the build standard on every project.

Custom Site

For a business whose website has a job to do beyond looking good.

  • Custom design and front-end build, no template origin
  • Booking, intake, listings, menus, portals — the functional parts
  • Performance work: fast on a phone, on a slow connection, in a parking lot
  • Full accessibility conformance work and documentation
From $2,000 Scope-dependent

Every project is quoted after scope. You get the price before anything is built — and a mockup before you commit.

03 — Process

How we build it.

Four
steps

  1. Mockups

We talk for half an hour about the business — who calls, who books, what gets asked on the phone every day. Then you get three real, clickable design directions for your site. Not slides. Actual pages.

  2. Pick

You choose the direction that feels like your business, and we adjust it together — type, color, layout, wording — until it is right on screen. Nothing gets built until you like what you are looking at.

  3. Build

The chosen direction is hand-coded: fast, responsive, and tested against WCAG 2.1 AA with a keyboard and a screen reader. You get a staging link and can watch it come together.

  4. Launch

Domain, hosting, analytics, search-engine basics, and a short handover so you know how to change your own hours.

04 — Accessibility

We look closely at the things others miss.

The CDC puts the share of American adults living with a disability at roughly one in four. If your site cannot be used with a keyboard, a screen reader, or at 200% zoom, some of your customers simply leave — and a smaller number send a demand letter.

Østerline builds to WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the default standard, not an upgrade. Medical clinics, public-facing service businesses, and anyone with a California storefront should treat this as table stakes.

6,000+

Web-accessibility lawsuits filed in the United States each year, according to industry tracking of ADA Title III digital claims.

$4,000

Minimum statutory damages per violation under California's Unruh Civil Rights Act, which applies to businesses operating in California.

These are general industry and legal figures, cited for context. They are not Østerline case results, and nothing here is legal advice.

Keyboard-complete

Every control reachable and operable without a mouse, with a focus indicator you can actually see.

Screen-reader sane

Real landmarks, one logical heading order, labeled forms, described images. Not a wall of unlabeled divs.

Contrast held

Body text at 4.5:1 or better, controls and boundaries at 3:1. Nothing important carried by color alone.

Motion respected

Animation drops out for visitors who ask their device for reduced motion. Content never depends on it.

05 — Range

Five industries. Five looks.

Style
studies

Real Estate

Listing grids, agent pages, map search, lead capture that reaches a phone in seconds.

Style study

Barbershop & Salon

Booking front and center, stylist bios, a gallery that loads before the customer changes their mind.

Style study

Restaurant

A menu that is real text, not a photo of a PDF. Hours, ordering links, and a reservation path.

Style study

Medical Clinic

Intake, scheduling, provider pages — and the accessibility conformance the setting demands.

Style study

Small Business

Trades, studios, shops. The essentials done properly: what you do, where you are, how to reach you.

Favourin Sajeev builds in React and Next.js. The production experience he brings to Østerline includes applications still in daily use — among them a scheduling platform a medical practice runs on.

You talk directly to the person writing your code. Nothing gets lost between a salesperson, a project manager, and an offshore build team, and when you email, someone who knows your build answers.

We don't compete with $15-a-month AI site builders, and we'll tell you honestly if that's all your business needs. What we build is for owners whose website is a real channel — the thing that decides whether the phone rings — and who want it fast, accessible, and maintained by people they can reach.

07 — Client words

Placeholder block

Client testimonials coming soon.

Østerline is brand new, so there is nothing to quote here yet. Rather than borrow someone else's words or invent a review, this space stays marked as a placeholder until a real client says something worth printing.
